OPTOMETRIST
David graduated from QUT's School of Optometry in 1994 and since then has gained extensive optometric experience working in various locations around the country in both Metropolitan and Rural areas. David has special interests in ocular pathology, sports vision and remote eye care. He frequently travels to WA and NT to deliver optometric care to Indigenous communities. David is currently a Director of the Optometrists Association of Australia (QLD/NT) Board and is appointed as a clinical supervisor at the QUT School of Optometry. He has also recently completed QUT's Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics, allowing him to prescribe eye medications for his patients. David is passionate about the eye business and strives to deliver his patients with the very best ocular care and vision solutions.
Jo Penton-Tansley
OPTOMETRIC ASSISTANT
If you want a frame that will make you stand out in the crowd – Jo is your girl! Jo has many years of experience in the optical industry and is highly competent at frame selection. Jo is able to offer advice about which frames suit different face shapes and which colour combinations best complement your complexion. These subtle differences can make a huge difference to the look of your face with a frame. Jo has also completed QUT’s Optometric Assistant Short Course and is highly skilled in frame repairs and adjustments. Jo is highly motivated and will go above and beyond to ensure any of your questions or queries are answered.
Lisa Bradley
OPTOMETRIC ASSISTANT
Lisa has spent the past 13 years living in and working from Dubai as a flight attendant for Emirates. Within this role Lisa gained first class experience in customer service and management and in addition to this she has an infectious personality! Lisa is skilled in frame selection and like Jo will do anything to guarantee you are delivered the best possible service. Lisa is also Dave’s wife, and later this year they will introduce the youngest member of the Eyes on Edward team – baby Bradley!
Annie Liu
OPTOMETRIC ASSISTANT
Annie is in her final year of Law at University of Queensland. She has an interest in fashion, music and travel and has also worn glasses and contacts for many years! Her favourite frames are of course an Eyes on Edward pair of Pradas! Annie can speak fluent Mandarin and is always happy to help with any of your queries.

Jane is a fashionable mother of three – and loves fashion, especially sunglasses! Jane is excellent about offering advice about optical frame and sunglass choices and will gladly assist with any queries you may have. |
